Nomadskins is the lovechild of a year of lockdowns, two people who are everything and nothing alike, and a moderate climate (which translates to it rains a lot)
Jb & Tasha are the creators behind Nomad; having met through a mutual friend some years earlier. Jb is a giant of a man, an all round wonderful human and has brains and brawn in equal measure. Growing up in the Scottish Highlands , Jb was wild swimming before Instagram was invented and as a teenager built his own boat to row between the Scottish Islands (full disclosure ; the first boat he built sank). Professional diver, master mountaineer and king of the kayak ; Jb is the man for any adventure.
A mere 5000 miles away, Tasha grew up in Zimbabwe with a natural affinity for water. Swimming, sailing, stand up paddle boarding - whatever the discipline , if its on the water or in the water, Tasha is onboard. Beyond her ambitions to be a full time mermaid, Tasha is a keen yogi and intrepid explorer.
Through Nomad we hope to enable more people to find their wild, and to take the road less traveled.
